Legion of Extraordinary Dancers

My friend introduced me to The LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers)and the dancing is phenomenal!. My favorite episode is Chapter 3, Robot Love Story, and it is amazing: thelxd.com/episodes/robot-love…. The dark doctor and Sp3cimen are wicked cool! And the music! Sometimes I let it play while I do other stuff on the computer just to listen to it ^^

It's a beautiful day here in Florida. Too bad I don't live on the coast. It's an IDEAL beach day! I wish you all could be here. Anyway, I just got a great idea. How about this for a new Ronin Warrior fan art theme: summer at the beach! Oh yeah! It's going to be too much fun! Hey, if you have any ideas that I miss or you think I should include once I start drawing, do tell. Nine guys at the beach being themselves... should I include Kayura? I didn't in the winter theme art. Hmm...

Yay Vacation!

Tomorrow night I drive up to stay with my best friend! Finally! Would you believe we've been best friends since about 2nd grade, went to different high schools, now live in different cities and we're still best pals? Believe it! I haven't spent any significant amount of time with her since last summer! Wahhh! So I got up tomorrow night after work 
She lives on the beach but anybody who lives in Florida know that time on the actual beach may not happen. Screwy Florida weather. Oh well. She ordered the Ronin Warriors OVA and we're totally having a marathon. Can't wait!
What else... Oh yeah. I'm doodling out a Ronin Warriors fan fiction/ slideshow/manga/whatever-you-want-to-call-it for my YouTube account and I promised some people there that it'd be up NLT June 30. I'm about done with the pictures. I'm proud of myself. It's a lot of drawing. I normally can't force myself to do that amount in a short period of time without my best friend there. Hmm. So that's almost done. I've got a 5 days to finish the last of the drawings while I'm away then 3 days when I come back to assemble the darn thing with tunes and stuff: episode 1.
This first one is going to be a wee off... naturally. I'm trying to find a manga style that comes to me naturally (that I don't want to burn), I'm experimenting a little bit, there will be a few inconsistencies, that's intentional. Episode 2+ will be solid, though. I'm confident I'll have my art figured out. ^.^ The story line will be loads of fun and adventure!

A day without laughter is a day wasted

I need to laugh. If I don't, I'll shrivel up and die OR my head will explode depending on the time of day. I absolutely love to collect goofy quotes. Some are ridiculous and some are just plain true:

**(This one I found in an old notebook from many years ago. My family is crazy and our quotes top every other source of silliness out there. Here, we were at the dinner table. You put more than one of us in the same place and we're laughing so hard no one is making a sound. It's me and my two brothers with our mom nearby.)
Mom: Eat your food.
Rob: But there's mold on it! There's algae on it! Ricky spit on it! Look at all that spit!
Mom: That's gravy now eat it!
**(She may have gotten it from somplace else but who knows... Older sister talking to bros a few months ago who are both now 5'10"+ while she's stuck at 5'5". The boys challenged her to something bizarre)
Jen: You may be bigger than me, you may be stronger than me... but I'm CRAZY!
**Me: Did you see Mickey Mouse?
Best friend: No but I saw US climbing giant cans of tuna.
**(Jen and Rob downstairs; Rick and I upstairs)
Rob: (shouting from the kitchen) Hey, Becky! You better come down now if you want strawberries!
Rick: (Flies past me at the computer upstairs and answers to my summons) Did you leave any good ones?
Rob: Becky, you’re voice has changed.
Jen: And you’re a man!
